Personal Injury Attorney (5-10+ years)

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation from initial pleadings through trial preparation
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Conduct depositions, appear at court conferences, and argue motions
• Develop case strategy and assess case value
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
• Partner with paralegals and support staff to keep cases moving efficiently and on schedule

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to the New York State Bar
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in personal injury, with a focus on premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and labor law
• Strong background in deposition practice, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy
• Proven ability to independently manage a high volume caseload with minimal oversight
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
• Client focused mindset with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

$175,000 - $300,000 per year
