Personal Care Assistant PT 3pm-11pm

About the role

Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver positions are available at Wallick Senior Living's Oakleaf Village and The Grove locations. These roles are full-time, part-time, or per diem.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Perform physical resident care including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident and family needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident participation in activities.
• Absorb and assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members, and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus.

Qualifications

• Organized and self-motivated to do a great job for our residents.
• Ability to perform lifting, turning, and repositioning tasks as needed.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills.

Pay

$16/hour plus shift differential.
