Personal care Assistant PT 7am-3pm

About the role

The Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver position is available at Oakleaf Village and The Grove, offering part-time hours from 7am-3pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Perform physical resident care including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answer call lights promptly and address resident and family needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident participation in activities.
• Absorb residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members, and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus.

Qualifications

• Organized and self-motivated to provide excellent care for residents.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle challenging situations.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting and repositioning residents.
• Basic computer skills for managing resident records and scheduling.

Pay

$16/hour plus shift differential.

Schedule

Part-time hours from 7am-3pm.
