About the role
Eminence Home Care is seeking Personal Care Assistants to provide compassionate and supportive care in clients' homes. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Prepare and feed meals
- Remind clients of medication schedules
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Accurately document client interactions and progress
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Run errands as needed
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Pass a pre-employment physical and TB test
- Verification of professional references
- Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes
- Reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Effective communication skills in English
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (if applicable)
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
