About the role

Eminence Home Care is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team. The primary responsibility is to ensure clients are safe, supported, and able to remain at home by assisting with daily needs. This includes following individualized care plans, reporting significant changes, and demonstrating care and compassion.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
  • Prepare meals and feed clients
  • Provide medication reminders to help clients stay on schedule
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Accurately document all interactions and activities
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Run errands as needed

Requirements

  • Previous caregiving experience preferred
  • Pass a pre-employment physical and TB test
  • Verification of professional references
  • Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have a good driving record
