About the role
Eminence Home Care is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide compassionate and supportive care to clients in their homes. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Prepare and feed meals to clients
- Remind clients of their medication schedules
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Accurately document all interactions and activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Run errands as needed
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and TB test
- Verification of professional references
- Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes
- Reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
- Passing a background check and drug screening
