About the role

Eminence Home Care is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide compassionate and supportive care in clients' homes. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
  • Prepare meals and feed clients
  • Provide medication reminders and ensure clients stay on schedule
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Accurately document all interactions and activities
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Run errands as needed

Requirements

  • Previous caregiving experience preferred
  • Pass a pre-employment physical and TB test
  • Verification of professional references
  • Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Basic computer skills

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and assist clients
  • Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
