About the role
The Personal Banking Advisor is responsible for assisting clients in various banking activities, cross-selling products and services, and maintaining branch operations.
Responsibilities
- Aid clients with new account services and product changes.
- Actively promote and sell all bank products.
- Fill out and process contract forms, determine fees, collect deposits, and prepare records.
- Stay updated on all bank products, services, and technologies.
- Adapt to and utilize new banking technologies.
- Educate clients on the use of technology and provide demonstrations.
- Solve client complaints, questions, and problems.
- Support branch supervision by performing tasks such as branch settlement, teller balancing, ATM settlement, and audit reviews.
- Handle deposits, cash transactions, and issue receipts.
- Place holds on accounts and prepare wire transfers.
- Maintain safe deposit box access and monitor security procedures.
- Assist in maintaining dual control logs and ensuring employee security.
- Represent the bank in community activities and attend relevant training sessions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with electronic banking channels like Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, EStatements, Bill Pay, etc., is preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and governmental regulations.
- Effective communication skills, including writing reports and responding to inquiries.
- Mathematical skills, including basic arithmetic operations and understanding of interest rates and percentages.
