About the role
This role involves providing direct nursing care within various hospital units, including adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations. It requires clinical leadership, serving as a role model to promote a positive work environment and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, including intravenous (IV).
- Assist with tests and procedures.
- Respond to emergencies.
- Ensure patient safety by following policies, reporting concerns, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Complete documentation.
- Provide patient education.
- Participate in orientation and training activities, including precepting new staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- At least 2 years of related experience.
- Valid RN licensure.
- Mandatory certifications: CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
Skills
- Physical strength for patient handling.
- Adherence to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE for hazardous materials.
