Per Diem Postpartum Nurse

About the role

Provides safe, competent nursing care aligned with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Offers professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, emphasizing Patient-Centered Care and Service Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assess psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs of patients and families.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans integrating direct and indirect care activities.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care, including goal setting, treatment, and discharge planning.
• Perform hourly rounds to enhance communication, safety, and meet patient needs proactively.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• BLS certification.
• NRP within 6 months.
• Preferably, one year of full-time or three years of part-time acute care experience.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments.
• STABLE certified or obtain certification within six months.
