Per Diem Postpartum Nurse

About the role

Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, emphasizing Patient-Centered Care and Service Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts.
• Conduct purposeful hourly rounds to enhance communication, safety, and patient comfort.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in an acute care setting (preferred).

Qualifications

• Additional certifications such as NRP and STABLE (desirable).
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
