Role Overview

Provides safe, competent nursing care aligned with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Offers professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, emphasizing Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence. Demonstrates compassion, empathy, teamwork, and respect to enhance patient outcomes and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans using nursing expertise, integrating direct and indirect patient care activities.
• Cook up interdisciplinary care, including setting goals and discharge planning tailored to patient and family needs.
• Perform hourly rounds to improve communication, safety, and anticipate patient needs, ensuring a patient-friendly environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited RN program and hold a current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certification; NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Preferably, one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
• Successful completion of pre-employment assessments and certification in STABLE (or obtain within six months).
