Per Diem Postpartum Nurse

About the Role

Provides safe, competent nursing care aligned with facility policies and standards, demonstrating Service Excellence and patient-centered care. Offers professional leadership and support within the healthcare team, addressing psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs of patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans integrating nursing knowledge and skills.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care, setting goals, treatment, and discharge plans tailored to individual needs.
• Perform hourly rounds to enhance communication, safety, and proactively address patient needs such as pain management and environment safety.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with a current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certification; NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Preferably one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
• STABLE certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• Ability to pass pre-employment assessments.
