Per Diem Patient Access Representative

Role Overview: This position involves greeting and welcoming patients, collecting demographic and insurance information, verifying eligibility and benefits, and assisting with registration and scheduling processes. The role supports accurate data entry into electronic medical records and helps patients navigate financial assistance programs. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in personCollect and verify demographic, insurance, and financial informationCheck in patients, complete paperwork, and direct them to appointmentsAssist with scheduling and add-on appointmentsObtain signatures and collect co-pays or deductiblesRespond to patient questions and facilitate information requests Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 6 months customer service experience in a healthcare or office settingProficiency with Microsoft OfficeAbility to work flexible shifts and a minimum of one shift every two weeksDependable with strong communication skillsMust be 18 years or older Preferred Attributes Experience with revenue cycle and general office tasksWillingness to work varied shifts as needed This role offers a pay range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits and recognition programs.
