Per Diem ICU Nurse

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry, providing per diem hospital care in Halifax, VA. Responsibilities include: delivering safe, high-quality acute-care nursing; assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions; administering medications and IV therapies; monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment; collaborating with healthcare teams; maintaining accurate electronic records; following safety and infection control standards; educating patients and families; demonstrating professionalism and adaptability. Qualifications: active Virginia RN license; at least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years; current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association; recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test; COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption. Additional credentials may be required based on the assignment.
