About the role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for per diem ICU and Telemetry assignments in Halifax, VA, offering flexible scheduling with day and night shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality, safe patient care in an acute-care hospital setting
- Assessing and monitoring patients
- Administering medications and therapies
- Managing cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
- Collaborating with healthcare teams
- Maintaining accurate records
- Educating patients and families
Qualifications and skills
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- QuantiFERON-TB Gold test completed within the past 12 months
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Additional credentials may be needed based on specific assignments
