Per Diem ICU Nurse

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in ICU or Telemetry for per diem assignments in Halifax, VA. This role offers flexible scheduling with day and night shifts, allowing nurses to choose shifts that fit their lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting, including patient assessment and monitoring
• Administer medications and therapies
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and use specialized equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Educate patients and families
• Adhere to safety and infection-control protocols

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Virginia RN license
• At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past year
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
