About the role
We are seeking experienced ICU and Telemetry RNs for per diem hospital assignments in Halifax, VA.
Responsibilities
- Providing safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
- Collaborating with healthcare teams
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- Educating patients and families on treatment and discharge
- Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
