About the role
The People Department Intern at Central Health will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources within a vibrant and evolving organization. This internship offers opportunities to rotate through HR Centers of Excellence such as HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Talent Development, and HR Analytics.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various HR team members to understand the interconnectivity of different HR functions.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and HR-related training sessions.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the HR leadership team.
- Afford to assist with the coordination and execution of HR initiatives and projects across various COEs.
- Facilitate communication and information flow within the HR department and across different COEs.
- Support the HR team in the preparation of presentations, reports, and HR documentation.
- Contribute to the research and analysis of HR trends and best practices to inform departmental strategies.
- Offer logistical support for HR events, workshops, and training sessions.
- Provide assistance in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (higher degree accepted)
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
Skills and Abilities
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
