Job Duties

  • Evaluate, diagnose, manage, consult, and treat all patients who seek care in the Texas Children's Emergency Centers for any problem or complaint.
  • Perform high stakes and other procedures commonly performed or needing to be performed urgently or emergently.

Requirements

  • M.D. (or equivalent)
  • Accredited Residency in Pediatrics and/or Emergency Medicine
  • Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  • Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, or American Board of Emergency Medicine
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
