Academic Clinician, Assistant Professor, Pediatric Emergency Medicine
About the role
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Emergency Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include participating in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows as a member of the Division of Emergency Medicine.
- Clinical responsibilities may include providing direct patient care in an Emergency Department that has an annual volume of 100,000 visits.
- Clinical employment opportunities in Pediatric Emergency Medicine are also being offered at both our clinical affiliate institutions, Virtua Voorhees, in Southern New Jersey and our new King of Prussia Center in King of Prussia, PA which is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2021.
- Candidates are expected to be knowledgeable of current ED studies and participate in patient enrollment, as needed.
Requirements
- An M.D. or equivalent degree is required.
Qualifications
Expertise is required in the specific area of Pediatrics with a focus on Emergency Medicine.
Skills
