About the role

Pediatric Home Service has been a trusted leader in pediatric home health and private duty nursing since 1990, specializing in 1:1 in‑home nursing care that allows children with complex medical needs to live at home, attend school, and build meaningful memories with their families. As a Home Health Nurse / Private Duty Nurse you will care for one child at a time, developing real connections and seeing progress firsthand. The company offers specialized, hands‑on training in ventilator, trach, and g‑tube care—so no prior experience is required to get started—and provides 24/7 support from a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 pediatric home health care to children with medical complexities.
• Help children grow and thrive safely at home.
• Care for one child at a time, building real connections and observing progress.
• Perform ventilator, tracheostomy, and gastrostomy tube care as needed.
• Collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary team to support the child’s health and development.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN license.
• Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to learn specialized skills (ventilator, trach, g‑tube care).
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, evenings, and weekends.

Pay

• Sign‑on bonus up to $4,000 for full‑time night positions.
• Shift differentials: $2 per hour for nights and $2 per hour for weekends.

Schedule

• Full‑time, part‑time, and PRN opportunities available.
• Shifts: days, nights, evenings, and weekends.
• Location: Southwest Missouri Region (Grandby, Marshfield, Rogersville, Tunas, Webb City).
• Client specifics: children ages 1‑21 years old with tracheostomies, ventilators, and gastrostomy tubes.
