Pediatric Pulmonologist

About the role

This role supports Cooper University Health Care’s mission by providing education for medical students and residents in addition to delivering expert, family-centered care, advancing clinical quality, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve pediatric respiratory health across the region.

Responsibilities

• Provides specialized evaluation and treatment for infants, children, and adolescents with respiratory and lung disorders.
• Supports Cooper University Health Care’s mission by delivering expert, family-centered care, advancing clinical quality, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve pediatric respiratory health across the region.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency program.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship.
• Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Pulmonology with experience diagnosing and managing a wide range of pediatric respiratory conditions.
• Prior clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology settings is preferred.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary pediatric teams and providing family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology.
• Board certification in General Pediatrics.
• Current, unrestricted New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• CURRENT DEA registration.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric pulmonology.
