About the role

The Division of Pediatric Respiratory Medicine at McLane Children’s Scott & White is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Pulmonologist to join their team. The position offers a third-in-the-group role, with a low call volume, a pediatric sleep program and sleep lab, opportunities for lectures, grand rounds, research, and quality improvement projects, and a mainly outpatient focus with some inpatient rounding.

Responsibilities

• Mainly outpatient focused, with some inpatient rounding
• Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis accredited facility
• Opportunity to work with pediatric residents and medical students

Requirements

• Board Certification in Pediatrics and Pulmonary Medicine
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric pulmonology preferred
• Strong interest in academic medicine and teaching

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
