Pediatric Physician
About the role
We are seeking an energetic Pediatrician to join our growing team of providers making a difference in our pediatrics healthcare. You will play a crucial role in providing integrated, comprehensive and wholistic healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents.
Responsibilities
- Work in a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic with ability to work with partner facilities on inpatient procedures
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and developmental screenings
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, illnesses, and injuries
- Provide preventive care, including immunizations, well-child visits, and health education for patients and families
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients and caregivers on nutrition, safety, disease prevention, and overall wellness
- Collaborate with other a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and provide education to patients regarding their health choices
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics.
- Current unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the State of Texas or be able to obtain.
- Registered and have current DEA, DPS and other such certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in the State of Texas or be able to obtain.
- Experience in a clinical setting with a diverse patient population.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar.
- MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
