Pediatric Pulmonology Physician

About the role

The position is a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Pulmonologist opportunity to join the Division of Pediatric Respiratory Medicine at McLane Children’s Scott & White in Central Texas.

Responsibilities

• Join a Physician and Nurse Practitioner Light call volume Pediatric sleep program and sleep lab
• Opportunity to participate in lectures, grand rounds, research and quality improvement projects
• Mainly outpatient focused, with some inpatient rounding
• Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis accredited facility
• Opportunity to work with pediatric residents and medical students

Requirements

• Board Certification in Pediatrics or Pulmonary Medicine
• Experience in Pediatric Pulmonology preferred

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
