About the Role
The Palliative Care RN provides comprehensive patient and family assessments, addressing medical, emotional, social, spiritual, and financial needs. This role collaborates with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans aligned with family goals.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate communication among patients, families, physicians, and support services.
- Manage end-of-life comfort care treatments.
- Perform nursing assessments and act as a liaison between care teams.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse License in the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, including oncology, geriatric, or critical care.
- Strong conflict resolution and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing.
- Hospice and Palliative Care Certification.
- Experience in pediatric and adult nursing, grief counseling, and crisis intervention.
