About the role

This position is a Palliative Care RN responsible for comprehensive patient and family assessments, care coordination, and education in collaboration with medical providers. The RN manages complex medical, emotional, social, spiritual, and financial needs, facilitates communication among patients, families, and healthcare teams, and ensures appropriate end‑of‑life treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and families.
  • Coordinate care plans and educate patients/families in partnership with medical providers.
  • Manage complex medical, emotional, social, spiritual, and financial needs.
  • Facilitate communication among patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Ensure appropriate end‑of‑life treatment and support.

Required Qualifications

  • Washington RN license upon hire.
  • Minimum 3 years nursing experience, including experience in oncology, medical‑surgical, geriatric, critical care, palliative, or hospice care.
  • Strong collaboration and conflict‑resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
  • Hospice and Palliative Care Certification.
  • Experience in pediatric and adult nursing.
  • Background in education, grief counseling, and crisis intervention.

Pay

Hourly rate ranges from $42.09 to $65.35, with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials and bonuses.
