Responsibilities

  • Develop effective selling skills through phone selling to field customer account locations.
  • Assign field territories, including coverage of active vacant field territories.
  • Receive coaching feedback to enhance selling skills.
  • Have monthly budgetary responsibilities for the respective territory.
  • Participate in field events such as sales leadership meetings and program conventions.
  • Manage a territory budget and utilize appropriate budgetary guidelines to maximize customer benefit and Abbott Nutrition’s benefit.
  • Ensure positive influence on product decisions of healthcare providers (HCPs) in pediatric/family practices and WIC clinics.
  • Manage HCP concerns related to pediatric nutritional products, patient conditions, patient education, reimbursement issues, and continuing education credits.
  • Allocate sample budgets for short-term trialing purposes and service materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Communication, Business, or Human Ecology/Food and Nutrition.
  • Currently live or willing to relocate to Columbus, OH for the duration of the role.
  • Willingness to relocate to various cities in the U.S. to obtain a U.S. Field Sales force position.
  • Effective selling skills and a knowledge/passion for Abbott Nutrition products.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and use of marketing databases.
  • Results-oriented and willing to win.
  • Adaptability and coachability.
