Inside Sales Representative

Sell company products and services

• Process orders, price and delivery inquiries, provide technical and application information
• Solicit customer orders and suggest additional products
• Provide order acknowledgments and verify ship dates
• Process and expedite orders, customer returns, and returns to vendors
• Negotiate pricing and delivery with vendors when necessary
• Work closely with Outside Salesmen to solicit business and maintain customer service levels

Essential Functions

• Ensure orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Select and specify products using FCX and vendor supplied tools/software
• Respond to customer inquiries and maintain customer relationships
• Locate and create purchase orders for products
• Follow up with vendors for timely delivery
• Maximize gross margin by ensuring superior service and technical expertise
• Review open customer order reports and take appropriate actions

Preferred Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 1-3+ years’ experience in Customer Service related Industry
• Experience in an Inside Technical Sales/Customer Service role with an Industrial Distributor
