Pediatric Hospitalist
Responsibilities
Care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor and in the newborn nursery supporting approximately 2400 annual deliveries
Pediatric Floor ADC: 5
Newborn Nursery ADC: 15
Daytime support from Advanced Practice Providers
Block scheduling for optimal work-life balance
Daytime rounding and out-of-house call (30-minute response time)
Collaborate with a network of pediatric subspecialists available both onsite and via telehealth through:
University of Virginia
INOVA Children’s National
Opportunity to teach and mentor Family Medicine Residents
Work alongside a team where Pediatrix also provides NICU services at Winchester Medical Center for continuity of care
