About the role
Personal Care Aide providing in-home caregiving services.
Responsibilities
- Follow the client’s aide plan and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
- Assist with basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, meal preparation, feeding, oral hygiene, and transfers using equipment like walkers and wheelchairs.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and a clean environment, while respecting client confidentiality and privacy.
- Encourage client self-help and monitor their condition; report any concerns or unusual changes to the supervisor.
- Perform secondary tasks such as laundry, light cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal prep only if specified in the care plan.
- Assist with medication self-administration (not administering medications) and adhere to scope of practice.
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months caregiving experience validated through references.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Capable of reading and writing.

- Maintain professionalism.
- Accountable to the Home Care Manager and staffing supervisor.
