About the role
The PC&L Specialist acts as a bridge between FlightSafety International and its stakeholders, ensuring efficient and effective communication and coordination throughout the production process. This role involves addressing inquiries, resolving issues, maintaining documentation, coordinating issues and risks, advising on inventory levels, identifying process improvements, and exhibiting professional behavior.
Responsibilities
- Act as a central point of contact and work with various departments and stakeholders, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring clear communication.
- Maintain, document, and coordinate issues and risks through the production process and mitigate as needed with appropriate stakeholders.
- Advise on inventory levels to meet customer demands, including stock control and demand forecasting.
- Identify and support improvements to streamline processes, monitor key performance indicators, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency throughout the Production process, and address issues and disruptions, such as delays, shortages, or quality problems.
- Exhibit and practice professional and courteous behavior while interacting with both internal and external customers.
- Interact within a cooperative environment through beneficial behavior, commitment to common goals, contribution to problem solving, communication of ideas and suggestions, and encouragement to other employees and departments.
- Accountable for the security of FSI materials, projects and business information regarding the methods and techniques used in the production and usage of FSI products.
- Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.
- Able to adhere to a work schedule including prompt and regular attendance.
- Able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Associate’s degree preferred in a related field (logistics, supply chain management, business).
- Minimum Experience: Applicable technical experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office applications is essential.
- Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings for customer support and planning functions.
