About the role
The Role At Hyatt, we believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive associates who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences. This individual is responsible for responding to all incoming calls to the hotel (internal and external). The Guest Relations Agent must work well handling a high volume of calls which will include but is not limited to guest requests and reservations. They should also be comfortable answering questions relating to the hotel and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities
- Respond to all incoming calls to the hotel (internal and external)
- Handle a high volume of calls related to guest requests and reservations
- Answer questions about the hotel and the surrounding area
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Requirements
- Customer service experience preferred
- A friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Hospitality/hotel experience – preferred
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
