PBX Operator
We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. Grand Hotel is a world-renowned, five-star hotel offering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences to our guests. Positions are available in hospitality, guest services, food and beverage, housekeeping, and more.
About the role
This role is a seasonal position located on Mackinac Island, Michigan. Room and board are provided at a daily rate. We are looking for a Telephone/PBX Operator who is passionate about providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism and efficiency
- Be the first point of contact for our guests
- Maintain a positive attitude and remain calm under pressure
- Work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience operating a PBX or multi-line phone system preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and email
- The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
