About the Opportunity:The PAYROLL SPECIALIST role is responsible for managing accurate and timely payroll processing to support the organization’s workforce. This position ensures payroll data integrity, compliance with regulations, and coordination with multiple departments, contributing to smooth financial operations and employee satisfaction. Responsibilities:Compile and input payroll data accurately into the payroll systemCoordinate with medical directors, managers, physicians, and HR-related departments for payroll informationVerify time records and produce payments including regular wages and bonusesValidate payroll data for accuracy and reasonablenessBalance payroll reports and fulfill wage garnishment requirementsEnsure compliance with federal and state payroll lawsAssist with payroll reconciliations, audits, and financial inquiriesGenerate regular and ad hoc payroll reports for managementRespond to payroll-related inquiries and manage ticketing system communicationsAssist with bonus calculations and audit processesParticipate in payroll system updates, testing, and implementationsMaintain accurate payroll records and documentationProvide employment verifications as requestedContribute to departmental improvements and efficiency Requirements:2 to 3 years of payroll or accounting experienceBachelor’s degree in a related field preferredKnowledge of payroll and accounting principles and relevant policiesProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially ExcelStrong customer service skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSkills in data collection, reconciliation, multitasking, and working under pressure Pay Range and Compensation Package:Base salary range is $25.74 to $32.18 per hour, excluding benefits and potential bonuses Benefits & Perks:Medical insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401(k) retirement plan with matching and profit-sharing contributionsStudent loan refinancing discounts Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
