Payroll Specialist
Summary/Objective
The Payroll Specialist position is an entry-level role responsible for initiating, reviewing, and processing payroll. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Essential Functions
- Export time-keeping data and import it into our payroll ERP.
- Export the payment file from the ERP and import it into the bank and ADP.
- Support month-end close processes associated with the payroll process.

Physical Demands
- Sit for long periods of time at a desk in front of a computer screen.
- Occasionally lift, push, pull or carry objects.
- Regularly talk or hear.
- Frequently stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus required.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The individual will report to our Jacksonville, Florida Office.
Required Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of payroll processing experience involving operational time-card submissions.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment.
