About the Role
This role supports payments leadership across two brands: Curve Pay (part of Curve Dental) and FlexPayments (part of Flex Dental). As the Payments Operations Manager, you will be the operational backbone of the payments business—the person who keeps performance visible, priorities moving, and the machine running day to day.
Responsibilities
- Own the operating cadence of the payments business—build and maintain dashboards and reporting that track performance across the customer lifecycle, from initial setup through renewal and expansion.
- Monitor account and business health, catch emerging risks early, and bring findings and recommendations to leadership proactively.
- Drive cross-functional execution—work across sales, account management, marketing, product, and support to ensure strategic priorities keep moving, not just get announced.
- Design and continuously improve the processes, tools, and systems the payments business runs on.
- Partner closely with the Head of Payments on operational strategy—translating priorities into concrete execution plans, coordinating across teams, and driving targeted improvements to operational performance.
- Prepare business reviews, performance reporting, and leadership communications.
- Identify opportunities for improvement independently.
Requirements
- 4+ years in business operations, revenue operations, strategy & operations, or program management—ideally supporting or within a payments, fintech, or vertical SaaS business.
- Demonstrated ability to build reporting and dashboard infrastructure from scratch and turn data into action, not just visibility.
- A track record of driving initiatives to completion across teams you don’t manage.
- Strong organizational instincts and comfort with ambiguity—you build structure where none exists rather than waiting for it.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, credible with both executives and frontline teams.
- Experience supporting or helping launch a new product or offering from planning through go-to-market.
- Resourceful with tools—quickly picks up new platforms and builds with them.
