About the role
Join HCA Healthcare as a Payment Poster and become an important part of the business office team. HCA Healthcare has committed up to $300 million in programs to support team members over three years. At Surgery Ventures, a dedicated unit within HCA Healthcare, you’ll work alongside over 3,400 physicians managing more than 150 surgery centers across 16 states, delivering safe, efficient, and premium surgical services with the backing of a Fortune 100 healthcare leader.
Responsibilities
- Post all payments and adjustments daily
- Contact payers and initiate requests for payment and refunds for overpayments
- Enter refunds in the AdvantaX system in a timely manner
- Prepare check registry for all refunds keyed in AdvantaX and submit to AP
- Perform weekly allocations of deposits to ensure accurate reporting of credit balances
- Maintain a credit balance of 1.0 days
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of payment posting experience
- Analytical skills to research and resolve reimbursement discrepancies based on contracts
