About the Role
The Poster is responsible for the expedient and accurate posting of payments and denials received from insurance carriers for diagnostic services.
Responsibilities
- Post payments from auto insurers and workers compensation carriers
- Review EOBs and enter payment amounts as indicated on the EOB
- Enter denials using the appropriate system denial codes
- Post patient copayments and deductible reimbursements
- Post reimbursements from attorneys
- Reconcile posting results with bank deposit
- Analyze incorrect payments
- Identify cause of discrepancies
- Escalate issues as appropriate
- Create reports for the Accounting Department
- Maintain Posting department reports
- Understand and process complex payments
- Post offsets from prefunded accounts
- Post refunds from providers
- Work closely with accounting, billers, claims, and arbitration departments
- Follow up on unapplied payments
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Prior payment posting experience a plus
- Ability to work with a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy
- Ability to analyze data and make educated decisions
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel
- Excellent mathematical ability

Pay
The pay range for this role is:
- 20 - 22 USD per hour (Tampa Office)
- 20 - 22 USD per hour (Jacksonville Office)
- 20 - 22 USD per hour (Wall Office)
- 20 - 22 USD per hour (Florham Park Office)
- 20 - 22 USD per hour (Remote)
