Description
The Patient Transporter at St. Luke’s is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients, supplies, and equipment throughout the facilities. Duties include assisting patients into/out of bed, transporting equipment, using assistive devices, retrieving medical records, laboratory specimens, supplies, and medications as required. Responsibilities also involve maintaining and cleaning transport equipment, complying with personal protective equipment requirements, adhering to health and safety regulations, resolving routine issues, and participating in interview, training, and onboarding processes.
