Patient Support Nurse (CMA/LPN) - 80 hours per pay period

Department: Clinic
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (80 hours per pay period, non-exempt)

Responsibilities

• Room patients
• Administer injections
• Handle phone communication
• Provide patient education
• Record vital signs
• Document in patient charts
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Manage clinic supplies
• Assist providers with procedures and treatments as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program
• Certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants or hold an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license

• Effective verbal and written communication with patients of all ages, coworkers, practitioners, and administration

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Detail-oriented
• Computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Previous clinic nursing experience preferred

Pay

$25.49 – $33.42 per hour
