General Responsibilities
- Room patients
- Auxiliary support during provider procedures and treatments
- Complete various tasks such as injections, phone communications, patient education, vital signs monitoring, chart documentation, quality improvement initiatives, rooming for prenatal visits, and managing supplies
Education/Training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from a Medical Assistant program or Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants or hold an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license

- Professional telephone etiquette

- Computer skills and knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Experience
- Previous clinic nursing experience preferred
