Patient Services Representative Senior
Shift and status: Full time, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, no weekends.
About the role
Organizes day-to-day clerical function in the delivery of quality health care services through the utilization of standard work. Provides functional guidance to clerical team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversees development and delivery of functional training to clerical staff using standard work.
- Responsible for auditing and developing action plans for process improvement.
- Schedules complex incoming/outgoing referrals, complex surgeries and in-office procedures, tests, including medical record review of incoming referrals.
- Performs tracking and trending collaborative review/audits within department/practice.
- Serves as a subject matter expert/resource to the department/practice.
- Possesses the ability to perform the roles of Patient Services Representative, Associate and Intermediate roles when necessary.
- Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 3 years of relevant experience (Required)
- Associate’s degree (Preferred)
