Patient Services Coordinator

About the role
The Patient Services Coordinator is the first line of contact for all patient programs, providing an exceptional patient experience through telephonic service, triaging documentation, and initiating patient setup. This role acts as secondary support for the care teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage all faxes, including uploading to the patient database and assigning to the correct Care Team member.
- Place outgoing and receive inbound telephone calls as necessary; route appropriately and resolve patient issues without escalation when possible.
- Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of protected health information; follow HIPAA security policies and procedures.
- Complete data entry tasks, including entering and setting up new patients in the database.
- Compile new patient packets and mail them out in a timely manner.
- Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Provide special project support as needed.
- Assign follow-ups to the appropriate team members.
- Act as a backup to the receptionist.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience.
- Administrative experience, including proficiency with computer-based applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt and handle unexpected situations.
- Ability to obtain Missouri Pharmacy Technician registration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service, phone, and clerical experience.
Physical/Mental Demands and Working Environment
- Largely sedentary role; may require standing and/or sitting for long periods (up to 90%).
- Regularly required to talk, hear, type, and engage in repetitive motion.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Intermittently required to stoop, crouch, push, pull, or kneel.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Mental alertness required; must communicate verbally and in writing, concentrate on tasks, and handle stress and emotions.
- Professional office environment with moderate noise levels, frequent interruptions, and multiple demands.
Pay
EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries. If this job posting includes a base salary range, it represents the low and high end for this position within the U.S. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).
