About the role

AVI Foodsystems at Aultman Orrville Hospital is seeking a part‑time Patient Food Service Attendant to manage the delivery of patient dining. The position offers a great starting rate of $15.50 per hour on weekdays and $16.50 per hour on weekends, with continual opportunities to earn more. The ideal applicant will have excellent customer service skills and a desire to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Use an iPad to enter meal orders and communicate menu choices to patients.
• Serve patient meals accurately and in a timely manner.

• Rotating weekends and holidays are required.
• Availability for shifts such as 10 am‑6:30 pm and/or 8 am‑4:30 pm.
• Willingness to undergo pre‑employment background checks and drug testing.

Pay

Starting rate: $15.50/hour on weekdays and $16.50/hour on weekends, with progressive job performance increases and room for advancement.

Schedule

Rotating weekends and holidays required; typical shifts are 10 am‑6:30 pm and/or 8 am‑4:30 pm.
