Patient Services Ambassador (Aultman Hospital)

About the role

AVI Foodsystems at Aultman Hospital is seeking an applicant for the Patient Services Ambassador. This position manages the delivery of patient dining. The right applicant will possess excellent customer service skills and a desire to work in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent entry level position for any health services major; includes patient interaction and integration with other patient support services.

Responsibilities

• Use an IPAD to enter meal orders and communicate menu choices to patients.
• Serve patient meals accurately and in a timely manner.
• Promote the highest levels of quality and service.

Skills

• Active Listening and Speaking – giving full attention to what others are saying.
• Service Orientation – actively looking for ways to help and assist people.
• Reading Comprehension, time management, good judgement, and decision‑making.
• Professional appearance required.
• Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
• Healthcare experience not required; no moving or repositioning of patients.

Pay

Great starting rate of $15.00/hr on weekdays and $16.00/hr on weekends, with continual opportunities to make more money.

Schedule

Weekends and holidays are required; rotating weekends are required.
