Patient Service Technician (Wednesday – Friday 7:00am – 5:30pm)

About the role

This part‑time position (Wednesday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm) is a Female Patient Service Technician role at Pioneer Human Services. The position supports the outpatient treatment program through data entry and urine analysis collection, and contributes to the organization’s mission of empowering justice‑involved individuals toward rehabilitation, reintegration, and redemption.

Schedule

Part‑time, Wednesday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Enter program and collection data; track census information as directed.
• Complete all urine analysis (UA) collections for the facility per protocol.
• Assist in delivering recovery‑based skill‑building education to patients individually or in groups, as needed.
• Document all interactions with patients clearly and accurately.
• Prepare forms and other documents; maintain and process program records.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and other meetings with program staff or consultants.
• Communicate professionally with patients, staff, service providers, and community members.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration; support other program departments as needed.
• Answer multi‑line phones, transfer calls, and take accurate messages.
• Suggest and recommend changes to program policy and procedure.
• Provide high‑quality services under the least restrictive conditions feasible.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of acceptable office experience.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Flexibility to respond to shifting priorities and take direction from program administrative staff.
• One year of acceptable experience in the human services field (preferred).
• Course work, experience, or training in human development, chemical dependency, group dynamics, residential treatment, or related disciplines (preferred).
• Experience with urine analysis collection and monitoring (preferred).

Pay

Hourly rate typically ranges from $17.30 to $21.28, depending on work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions.
