About the role
The Patient Service Representative plays a crucial role in the patient registration process at Fitzgibbon Hospital. They greet and register patients, announce codes over the Emergency Alert System, collect copays and balances, and handle switchboard calls.
Responsibilities
- Greets and registers patients presenting to the hospital, Emergency Department, and clinics
- Announces codes over the Emergency Alert System for the organization
- Collects copays and balances on current and previous encounters
- Answers all switchboard calls for the organization
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Prior 1 year customer service experience preferred
- Prior insurance experience preferred
