Responsibilities

  • Ensures a positive first impression for patients and referents by guiding them through the scheduling process with professionalism and empathy.
  • Exclusively conducts all patient interactions through incoming and outgoing phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner, providing accurate information or triaging as appropriate.
  • Handles patient inquiries by providing basic education on services, and scheduling appointments.
  • Handles patient concerns and crises with empathy and patience and collaborates with site leadership to resolve as needed.
  • Collaborates with clinical staff regarding patient care issues and scheduling.
  • Maintains awareness in trends, patterns, and needs for new services.
  • Attends mandatory meetings and trainings.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in health care facilities and an interest in behavioral health preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally lifts and moves office supplies which can include reams of paper that weigh up to 50lbs.

Compensation

This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings for this position will start at $17.00 hourly. Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location. Estimates are factored on a 1.0 FTE. Employees in these positions are W2.
